The leading pharmaceutical company, Dar Al-Dawa, announces the availability of a job opportunity.

Job Title: Chief Operation Officer
Place of work: Amman - Naour

General job description:
- Managing and planning all operations and activities carried out by its departments.
- Providing the necessary guidance and support to ensure adherence to the highest quality standards and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Increase the growth of profits and returns coming to the company by organizing and planning all operations that take place in the departments.
Subordinates: Engineering & Projects, Production and Supply Chain Departments.

Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of strategies, policies and objectives for the company and departments.
- Implementation and development of short and long-term work plans and the development of programs that will achieve the objectives of the departments affiliated to it.
- Providing suggestions and advice regarding the development of the work strategically and those related to the various decisions and plans of work and submitting them to the executive management.
- Monitoring the overall performance of the sector compared to the results and objectives previously set, in order to ensure that the performance is proceeding in the required direction and that preventive and corrective measures are implemented in this regard.
- Setting the required budget and monitoring the expenses and financial performance of the sector in coordination with the financial department.
- Develop administrative and technical circulars that will enhance the implementation of approved plans and programs.
- Holding periodic meetings with the directors of his departments to ensure that work priorities are arranged in the required manner and to ensure that work proceeds as it should.
- Collaborate with departments and various employees to implement operational infrastructure plans.
Skills and Experience Required:
- At least 15 years of related experience in the pharmaceutical industry, of which at least seven years are in a managerial position.
- Understanding and analyzing data and performance measures
- High understanding of all business functions.
- High efficiency in business planning and development.
- High efficiency in decisions making and problem solving.
- Dedication to building and developing a strong and stable workforce.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, Bachelor of Pharmacy, or Bachelor of Chemistry.

Its preferable to have: 
- Postgraduate studies in decision-making. (Decision Making)
- Postgraduate studies in strategic planning.
- Postgraduate studies in operations and production management and planning (Operation & Production Planning)
- Postgraduate studies in Industrial Firms Management
