Accountabilities & Key Roles :
- Achieve financial targets as per the approved FI Budget.
- Manage relationships between correspondent banks within an assigned geographical area and Arab Bank on a group level (branches and subsidiaries).
- Demonstrate the ability to market the bank’s products on a group level to correspondents, in an effective manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to understand and identify credit risk, operational risk, and compliance risk in the various transactions processed at FI, whether related to trade finance, treasury products, or payments, and to take the proper action accordingly in the absence of simple rules to follow.
- Keep up to date with all political and economical developments in the countries of coverage, and keeping up to date with correspondents performance to identify any warning signals and notifying management immediately to take necessary protective action.
- Stay up to date with the innovations in the market and recommending ways to implement similar innovations at the bank.
- Implement sound judgement in transactions approved by the RM.
- Demonstrate the ability to interpret policies, procedures and compliance requirements when conducting day to day business.
Qualifications
Education:
- University degree in business or any related field (MBA is a plus) .
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FI / correspondent banking and related operations experience with international banks.
Competencies:
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Proven understanding/knowledge of all banking products and services.
- Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and listening skills.
