Media & Communication Senior Officer

Core Responsibilities:

Developing and Implementing Communications Plans:

Assist in developing and implementing the annual communications outreach plan to ensure that all external communication aligns with JRF priorities.

Assist in creating a comprehensive social media plan for all JRF social media platforms, ensuring consistency and strategic alignment with JRF’s goals.

Social Media Management:

Manage and create engaging content for various social media platforms.

Generate creative ideas for social media campaigns to highlight the impact of JRF programs.

Ensure the visibility of JRF programs and communicate their impact on local community members through diverse communication and PR activities.

Ongoing Program Awareness:

Maintain a continuous awareness and understanding of JRF programs and activities.

Assist in crafting communication messages that reflect the Foundation’s principles and advocacy issues.

Advocacy Support:

Follow up on the implementation of advocacy plans and activities.

Assist in identifying, exploring, and developing opportunities for positive media relations.

Stakeholder and Media Liaison:

Liaise with key stakeholders, media, management teams, and staff to provide information and advice on issues related to JRF initiatives.

Content Preparation and Management:

Prepare and manage social media content, ensuring it is engaging and informative.

Conduct, manage, and evaluate awareness campaigns to effectively communicate JRF’s mission and impact.

Profile Development:

Develop the profile of the Foundation through researching, writing, and producing relevant targeted publications and briefings.

Website Management:

Manage the Foundation’s website to accurately reflect its initiatives and ensure it is updated with the latest information.

Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field

Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
