1. Accountabilities & Key Roles :

  • Manage the fulfillment of all talent acquisition requirements, in Jordan and HO from the local market. Manage and maintain the TA process in the bank Externally and Internally (recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, taking proper actions to close gaps).
  • Create recruitment profiles for key existing and new roles; engage with hiring managers to clarify the scope of the role, develop a role profile, and create a candidate specification.
  • Develop relevant policies & procedures, process flowchart and update them regularly.
  • Participate in designing the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source.
  • Prepare & update the Group’s recruitment plan with the recruitment team, ensuring its alignment with the Manpower Plan and business needs.
  • Manage the hiring process and ensure that vacant positions are identified in the direction of the headcount budget and filled in a timely manner in a coordination with all related parties.
  • Monitor and constantly reduce the costs of the recruitment process (observing the probationary turnover, new joiner satisfaction).
  • Observe and conduct the Recruitment process of validation and short listing potential candidates, interviewing & assessment, comparison. Conducts job interviews for the managerial job positions (or key jobs in the organization) in coordination with the executive managers.
  • Manage and maintain relationships and opening new channels with external recruitment agencies and universities. Execute recruitment campaigns to achieve the Bank's short & Long term sourcing goals and planning objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a candidate pipeline for hard-to-fill specialist and management roles, develop a variety of talent attraction and engagement processes and tools.
  • Review employment contracts / offers and conduct negotiations as necessary.
  • Develop, manage, and evaluate the new employee onboarding programs.
  • Ensure that employment activities are compliant with applicable our policies and local laws.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Education:

  • University Degree in Business from a recognized University, preferably with specialization in HR.
  • HR Professional Certification is a plus.

 

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition / Recruitment position.

 

Competencies:

Technical:

  • Excellent Computer skills (specially in MS Excel).
  • Relationship building skills.
  • Good understanding of Banking line business and the structure.

 

Personal:

  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal Skills.
  • Organized and detailed oriented.

2.Accountabilities & Key Roles :

Risk Assessments

  • Assist in the facilitation of Risk Assessment process for the Bank’s existing and new Products, activities, processes, systems, and liaise with related stakeholders in this regard.
  • Follow-up with Country Risk Managers (CRMs) to ensure adherence to the RCSA plan.
  • Assist in the review of Risk Assessments and RCSA reports received to ensure proper coverage, completeness, and that appropriate action is taken to maintain risks within acceptable levels.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing the consolidated annual RCSA results received from AB plc. branches
  • Develop and maintain standardized risk registers as needed, and provide support to CRMs in this regard.

Governance

  • Review new / updated policies and procedure documents related to Bank’s new/ updated products, activities, processes, or systems and recommend controls to mitigate operational risks.
  • Maintain and publish the Bank’s high level policies for all Bank’s functions on the Bank’s intranet.
  • Assist in the review of the ERM Operational Risk Management frameworks and High-level policies in addition to subsidiaries related Risk Management policies and frameworks.

General Operational Risk Management

  • Review data input to the ORM system by CRMS to maintain completeness and quality of data.
  • Review and provide feedback in regards to draft / issued regulations related to Operational Risk across AB plc.
  • Monitor the reporting cycle and requirements with (CRMs) to ensure timely reporting, and report discrepancies where needed.
  • Generate Operational risk management reports from ORM system as needed.
  • Coordinate with CRMs in regards to outsourced activities reports and consolidate the received reports.
  • Maintain the Operational Risk data repository and related records.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Business / Banking or any related field from a recognized university

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in Bank operations & control functions (e.g. Risk Management / Audit) in a leading financial institution or relevant area.

 

Competencies:

  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Good understanding of the Banking business.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, PC and statistical skills.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Assist in managing projects, and plans to execute the strategies, architecture and Roadmap for Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud adoption, rollouts, and continuous upgrades.
  • Assist in Planning, Optimizing, and Managing annual capital and operational budget for Cloud infrastructure and Container Platforms.
  • Perform market research, evaluation, selection, acquisition, implementation, and operation of latest Cloud Technologies, Container Platforms, and Cloud Management Solutions.
  • Implement Cloud infrastructure management and Security solutions to enable centralized Inventory Management, Configuration Management, Control Compliance Management, Security, Patch Management, Performance Tuning, and Health Monitoring.
  • Design and implement cloud service monitoring and control effectiveness KPIs.
  • Maintain governance and compliance/ alignment with latest industry standards, benchmarks, and regulations across Cloud Deployments and Container Platforms.
  • Implement and manage end-to-end enterprise technologies to fulfill the digital transformation requirements, and business units expansion requirements including: Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, SAP, Microsoft Office 365, Google Anthos, Red hat Open Shift. ISTIO Service Mesh, Container Platform Security, Cloud Workload Security, Cloud Access Security Broker, Multi-Factor Authentication, Federation Services, Identity and Access Management, Prometheus, Grafana, Security Information Event Management, Security Orchestration – Automation – and Response.
  • Assist in managing Cloud infrastructure and Container Platforms licensing, Billing, and lifecycle management.
  • Provide advanced technical support, critical problem resolution, and manage vendor support tickets.
  • Manage end-to-end Security Information Management and Security Orchestration-Automation-and-Response solutions including integration with all systems, developing / implementing use cases, and developing / implementing operational workflows.
  • Assist in Cloud Infrastructure and Container Platforms consultancy, sizing, design, provisioning, and hardening for all systems and services to ensure performance, high-availability, resiliency, operational excellence and quality of service.
  • Implement, rollout, and upgrade software solutions and security agents across Cloud Infrastructure and Container Platforms.
  • Manage capacity planning, scalability, and availability SLA’s of Cloud Infrastructure and Container Platforms across all countries.
  • Implement, and Adhere to Cloud Infrastructure and Container Platforms Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and Standards according to industry best practices and inline with regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Assist in defining operations, configuration, and hardening standards for Cloud Infrastructure and Container Platforms.
  • Address emerging hardening, vulnerability management, information security, and compliance requirements for Cloud Infrastructure and Container Platforms.
  • Assist in mentoring and coaching junior staff, and provide knowledge transfer.

 

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Graduated degree in a technical discipline (e.g. computer engineering/computer science)

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years in similar positions in a major financial institution or in a banking solution vendor, focused on Cloud Infrastructure and Container Platforms Management.

 

Competencies:

  • Diverse knowledge in technology trends, industry best practices, reference architecture, benchmarks, regulations and standards.
  • Diverse Technical knowledge in various infrastructure, resiliency, replication, and disaster recovery orchestration technologies.
