Senior / SME Relationship Officer
We are looking for an SME's Relationship Officer for both Senior and Officer levels to join the
 Jordan Kuwait Bank family, who is responsible for performing duties for small to medium size commercial clients of the Bank within the assigned portfolio, thereby maintaining a relationship with such customers as a trusted advisor based upon knowledgeable advice that is aligned to the clients’ business objectives and lifecycle. In addition, Preparing appropriate credit proposals and obtaining the required internal approvals to offer appropriate solutions and credit facilities to the customers promptly, besides managing the relationships of a small and medium portfolio of clients and ensuring the development of SME’s banking business, new to bank and cross-selling of other business lines products and services.

Main Responsibilities:

Manages an existing pre-defined set of corporate relationships.
Should identify their target marketing list of prospect customers and regularly market to new customers as per the bank’s pre-defined KPIs.
New business development with existing or new customers including regular marketing visits/calls to identify business opportunities
Ensure timely submission and implementation of credit requests and discuss the credit proposal with the credit review.
Cross-selling of various products of the corporate banking and other business lines including retail, treasury, private banking, deposits, and insurance.
Regular reviewing and monitoring of the customer relationship / and utilization of credit limits.
To ensure having the required return and risk matrix by obtaining collateral and/or cash margins and controlling cash flow, better pricing on bank assets, and fee collection.
Sufficient knowledge of the banking transactions systems and to comply with the bank code of conduct at all times to ensure a positive image of the Bank is presented to all customers.
Competencies and Skills

University graduate preferably in finance or a business discipline.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in an SME’s banking relationship management environment.
Well-developed analysis skills.
Good understanding of economic conditions within Jordan and the region.
Detailed knowledge of credit approval techniques and procedures.
Sound understanding of all relevant CBJ regulations, products, and credit lines.
Detailed knowledge of relevant SME products/services.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Excellent negotiating skills.
Excellent report-writing skills.
Professional written and spoken in English.
