Offensive Security Engineer
About the job
Accountabilities & Key Roles :
- Conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration test cycles.
- Manage 3rd party penetration testing and red team engagements.
- Work with IT owners and business teams to assist in security remediation process.
- Validate security fixes and retesting for VAPT findings.
- Perform threat modeling from offensive security standpoint and assist on required security test scenarios.
- Perform breach and attack emulation exercises, security control effectiveness and attack surface management.
- Participate in phishing and social engineering tests as part of Arab Bank security awareness program.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Graduate Degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in IT Security field.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration test tools: nmap, Shodan, Burp suite, ZAP, Metasploit, etc.
- Track record in implementing security technical controls and benchmark scanning.
- Good understanding of OWASP top 10 and familiar with attack victors on web, mobile, and API.
- Ability to guide IT owners through the security remediation process.
- Experience in automation and scripting: Bash, Python, GO, Powershell, etc.
