Job Purpose:
To provide overall support to the logistics department in areas such as procurement, fleet management, stock management, maintenance, and other related tasks. This internship offers a learning opportunity for fresh graduates to understand and implement ACTED's policies, procedures, and operational workflows. The primary goal is to gain support for the logistics department's operations while offering a valuable learning experience to the intern.

Contribute to timely, cost-efficient, and transparent transversal logistical management in the country.
Actively promote logistics procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Manager, the procurement intern will:
Procurement:
Conduct market surveys, maintain, and update the vendor database under the supervision of the logistics manager.
Assist in preparing Request for Quotation (RFQs), Request for Information (RFIs), and Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents.
Draft bid analysis sheets and price comparison sheets.
Maintain and update the framework agreement tracker and provide updates to the direct supervisor on the status of each agreement.
Assist in preparing Purchase Orders, Contracts, Framework Agreements, or their amendments.
Process invoices for goods and services delivered, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of documentation and timely payment, following up to completion.
Prepare reports, tables, charts, etc., applying technical skills and knowledge in formatting and presentations.
Prepare statistics and reports, including on procurement volume.
Undertake routine follow-up actions on procurement on behalf of the supervisor.
Maintenance:
Support the logistics manager in fleet management tasks, including scheduling vehicle maintenance, tracking fuel consumption, and maintaining vehicle logs.
Assist in managing stock, including tracking inventory levels, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely replenishment of supplies.
Help coordinate maintenance tasks for office equipment and facilities, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
Qualifications:
A recent graduate with a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
