Maintenance:
Assist in maintaining and updating the vehicle and equipment maintenance tracker.
Support in scheduling and coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Assist in maintaining a comprehensive inventory of vehicles, equipment, and spare parts.
Stock Management:
Assist in conducting regular physical inventory checks and reconciling with stock records.
Support in implementing proper stock storage and handling procedures to ensure inventory accuracy and security.
Assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock items and propose appropriate action.
General Logistics Support:
Provide general logistical support to the logistics team as needed.
Assist in logistics-related reporting and data analysis.
Support in organizing logistics-related documentation and files in a systematic manner.
Learning and Development:
Actively participate in logistics-related training sessions and workshops organized by ACTED.
Learn ACTED's policies, procedures, and operational methods related to logistics and procurement.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of logistics operations within the humanitarian context.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with ACTED and donors’ procedures in all logistics operations.
Actively promote logistics procedures and standards among staff and partners.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
Demonstrated interest in humanitarian work and logistics operations is an advantage.
Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken) is required.
