Job Title: Project Development Volunteer (PDV)
Company: ACTED
Location: Amman, Jordan
Job Purpose: To coordinate and implement humanitarian, environmental, and development aid projects in Jordan, particularly focusing on meeting the needs of refugee populations and host communities. This includes transitioning from emergency relief efforts to long-term livelihood programming, ensuring access to basic services for all affected populations.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Coordinate and implement aid projects for refugees and host communities, focusing on long-term livelihood programming.
- Manage and coordinate refugee camps in Za’atari, Azraq, and Mafraq, and support informal tented settlements with essential services (food, water, hygiene, and sanitation).
- Collaborate with local municipalities and community organizations to enhance their capacity and promote sustainable solutions.
- Contribute to ACTED's "3ZERO" vision of Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, and Zero Poverty by developing and implementing relevant initiatives.
Grant Management:
- Ensure proper grant management by developing qualitative project progress reports in compliance with donors’ rules.
- Facilitate smooth internal communication and coordination with relevant departments.
- Contribute to ACTED's external communication strategy.

Expected Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s level education in a relevant field such as International Relations, Development, or Political Science.
- Previous related work experience, with knowledge of proposal writing and reporting.
- Familiarity with the project cycle.
Conditions:
- Status: Volunteer
- Living allowance: 300 USD per month
