Recruitment Announcement: Media & Communication Senior Officer at Jordan River Foundation
Organization: Jordan River Foundation (JRF)
Position: Media & Communication Senior Officer
Location: Amman, Jordan
Core Responsibilities:
- Communication Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing the annual communications outreach plan, ensuring consistency with JRF priorities.
- Social Media Management: Develop and manage social media content and campaigns across all JRF platforms, ensuring visibility and engagement.
- Program Visibility: Highlight the impact of JRF programs through various communication and PR activities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with key stakeholders, media, management teams, and staff to provide information and advice on JRF initiatives.
- Advocacy Support: Assist in creating communication messages for the Foundation’s principles and advocacy issues, and follow up on the implementation of advocacy plans.
- Media Relations: Identify and develop opportunities for positive media relations.
- Content Creation: Prepare and manage content for social media, awareness campaigns, and the Foundation's website.
- Publications: Research, write, and produce targeted publications and briefings to enhance the Foundation’s profile.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in media and communication roles.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
