Job Overview

Description: 

This job entails ensuring the stability and reliability of our network through continuous 24/7 monitoring, managing faults, and reporting issues. The Network Operations Center (NOC) is responsible for promptly addressing problems, implementing standard changes on the RAN network for quicker issue resolution, and acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to ensure effective communication with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams.

Responsibilities


1. Fault Management Assurance:


Analyze various inputs to identify service-impacting issues.
Generate network reports and initiate instant ticket creation, closely following up on open cases.
Escalate unresolved issues before OLAs are breached.
Take necessary initial actions to resolve issues in collaboration with relevant parties.
Audit network faults and ensure comprehensive reporting to other teams by the NOC.
Maintain thorough records of network events and incidents.
Report and monitor incidents.

2. Supervising Data Management Activities:


Implement agreed-upon standard changes with the RAN team.
Execute first-level actions in coordination with the Maintenance team.
Organize and oversee daily tasks related to change requests from the NOC team and conduct necessary audits.
Manage NOC folders, ensuring reliable and up-to-date NOC configuration data.
Document and update NOC processes, procedures, and policies as per workload demands.
Plan and execute routine network health and consistency checks.
Ensure a dependable help desk management system by the NOC team.

3. NOC Tools Administration:


Generate vital reports related to NOC and operational activities.
Ensure reliable help desk management.
Provide round-the-clock assistance to public security personnel.
Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) with other operators regarding network incidents.
Support the NOC team and other team members with technical and non-technical issues.
Ensure the implementation and adherence to NOC processes, procedures, and policies.
Oversee proper implementation of access management processes.
Verify the health status of all monitoring tools.
Suggest customizations to enhance work efficiency.
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports concerning network faults and activities.
Prepare ad-hoc reports for senior management regarding significant events.
Generate incident report analyses.
Ensure accurate information is added to trouble tickets for precise Availability and root cause reports.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

Experience Level: Advanced experience in broadband activities, networking principles, architecture, and infrastructure.

Certifications & Licensure:

Essential:


Valid driving license.
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
Desirable:

ITIL foundation.
Tools & Systems:

Essential:


Trouble ticketing systems.
Fault management tools and systems.
Desirable:

Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, Node.js, and ASP.net.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Essential:


Proficiency in MS Office.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Network Installation and Provisioning, including Radio Network Installation and Configuration.
