Company is currently looking to hire a qualified and experienced Electrical Planning Superintendent to lead all electrical planning functions within the Projects & Expansions Directorate.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in achieving maintenance targets, maximizing plants availability, and ensuring that all electrical operations align with international safety and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Executive DutiesDevelop electrical maintenance plans across all plants in coordination with relevant superintendents.
Oversee the execution of the Annual Electrical Maintenance Plan and assign responsibilities accordingly.
Plan and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with production schedules.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and ISO procedures.Balance equipment lifecycle costs with optimal performance.
Prepare/review CAPEX and OPEX specifications in accordance with APC and global standards.
Manage inventory levels for critical electrical parts and approve purchase requisitions.
Collaborate with Inventory Control to monitor spare parts usage and stock thresholds.
Maintain maintenance job backlogs and update PM orders in the ERP system.
Report regularly to the Projects Manager and ensure adherence to quality, environmental, and safety standards.
Performs other duties related to the job as assigned by the Projects & Expansions Director.
Administrative DutiesConduct regular team meetings and adopt the best industry practices.Submit periodic progress reports to the Projects Manager.
Determine staffing needs and coordinate HR-related planning.
Recommend and evaluate training needs
in coordination with HR.Conduct staff performance appraisals and follow up on administrative matters (leaves, vacations, etc.).
Candidate ProfileQualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in the industrial field.
Technical ExpertisePower & Distribution TransformersHV/MV/LV SwitchgearsUnderground & Overhead CablesMV/LV VFDs, Motors, Protection Relays, PLCs, Breakers, etc
.المهاراتSkills & Competencies:High
proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong computer skills & ERP experience.
Excellent English (written and spoken).
Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Effective verbal/written communication.
Ability to work under pressure and during after-hours emergencies.
Proven leadership and team collaboration capabilities.
